Recipe: Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Cookies
Ingredients
- 1.5 cups rolled oats
- 1/2 cup maple syrup
- 1 cup whole wheat flour (or gluten-free)
- 6 Tbsp of softened butter
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 egg
- cup dark chocolate chips
- A little oil to grease the pan
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350.
- Mix oats, flour and salt together in one bowl.
- Mix egg, syrup, butter and vanilla together.
- Add dry and wet ingredients together and stir.
- Add in chocolate chips and stir well.
- Lightly grease cookie sheet.
- Drop by teaspoons onto pan.
- Bake 20 minutes.
- Cool on pan before eating or storing for best texture.
