Apple Crumble

Recipe: Apple Crumble

Ingredients

  • 10 apples – sliced (optional to peel)
  • 1/2 cup water for apples
  • 1/2 lemons juiced.
  • 1/2 cup coconut
  • 3/4 cup oats
  • 3/4 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup sunflower seeds (optional)
  • 1/2 cup sugar or honey
  • 2 tsp mixed spice
  • 1/2 cup oil or butter(melted)
  • 1/4 cup water for crumble.

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 160 degrees Celcius
  2. Simmer apples in water and lemon juice for 10 minutes
  3. Mix dry ingredients
  4. Whisk together water and oil then mix with dry ingredients
  5. Mix apples with some of the crumble and then top off that with remaining crumble.
  6. Bake in a dish for 30 min

Variations

Good with rhubarb, blackberries…
