Recipe: 24 Hour Summer Salad

Ingredients

  • 1 Head of Iceberg Lettuce
  • 1 Small Red onion sliced thin
  • 1 Cauliflower in small bite size pieces
  • 1/2 lb Bacon cut into small bites
  • 1/4 cup grated Fresh Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup of Hellman’s mayonnaise

Instructions

  1. Place lettuce in bottom of large round salad bowl
  2. Cover with thinly sliced onion
  3. Sprinkle cauliflower bits
  4. Sprinkle bacon bits
  5. Gently spread mayonnaise over ingredients.
  6. Generously sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top
  7. Refrigerate for 24 Hours.

Serving Ideas

Toss salad and serve with a light soup and french bread.
